Former LWD Staff donates bicycles to poor students in rural areas

Kampong Speu province (Dec 14, 2014) – Former LWD staff Mr. Soy Kimsorn distributed bicycles, books and pens to the poorest students in Thpong and Aoral districts of Kampong Speu province today. The donation, which was channeled through LWD, aimed to reduce difficulties of the poorest students who live far away from schools.

Panasonic donates more solar lanterns to rural community in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (November 12, 2014) – Panasonic Corporation, one of the largest Japanese electronics producers, donated today 450 more sets of solar lanterns for the second phase, worth about US$20,000 to Cambodian rural poor community who have no access to electricity. The donation was channeled through LIFE WITH DIGNITY (LWD) under the coordination of Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association (JELA).

Findings: ‘Women: Hope and Growth’ Project increases women’s capacity, improves their livelihoods
