Panasonic donates 400 more solar lanterns to rural community in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (March 15, 2016) – Panasonic Corporation, one of the largest Japanese electronics producers, donated today 402 more sets of solar lanterns for the third phase, worth about US$20,000 to Cambodian rural poor community who have no access to electricity. The donation was channeled through LIFE WITH DIGNITY (LWD) under the coordination of Japan Evangelical Lutheran Association (JELA).

Rural women from LWD’s target areas become Woman Farmer Champions in Agriculture

Phnom Penh (March 09, 2016) – Four rural women farmers who actively participated in rural community development work, especially in agriculture sector under LWD’s Cooperation for Women’s Economic Development Project (CWED) today were voted “Woman Farmer Champions in Agriculture” at the 6th National Farmer Forum, held in Phnom Penh.
