The one-day Forum, organized by LWF Cambodia, thematically focused on Gender Mainstreaming and Climate Change. It maimed to promote Rights Based Approaches to Development in Cambodia among LWF partners and development practitioners.

Keo Kaneka, Advocacy Officer for Oxfam, said it was very good to have such forum. It provided an opportunity for all development agencies to discuss and share their experience and lessons learned from their project implementation, she said.

Mao Yin, Coordinator for ADHOC, said the theme of the forum was very interesting. It’s relevant to the current work of her organization. “But the forum is too short,” she said, suggesting that the next forum should be longer than this so participants would have enough time to ask more questions.

In his presentation, Mr. Sok Sambath, Training Coordinator for LWF Cambodia, highlighted the impact of climate change and global warming. “We must act together now to reduce the risks and limit the damage caused by climate change,” he said.
