Film-maker, Nicky Lankester, from the Inter-Agency Standing Committee Task Force on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), under the leadership of UNDP, completed her mission in mid-January 2013, filming a series of activities related to LWD’s Feedback and Response Mechanism in Phnom Sruoch district of Kampong Speu province.

The shooting included awareness raising workshop for target villagers organized by LWD field staff and interviewing LWD senior manager about SEA and some community members who used and benefited from the mechanism.

“I found the LWD’s Feedback and Response Mechanism to be effective and applicable to people from remote communities,” Nicky said. She also visited and captured LWD’s Feedback Box installed at the public place in the community.

LWD’s Feedback and Response Mechanism policy was designed and approved by the management and the Board of Directors in 2011. It aims to enhance LWD’s accountability to all stakeholders LWD works with and improve organizational performance.

Posters outlining the types of complaints, how and where to file the complaints, and Feedback Boxes were posted and installed in 325 villages under LWD’s target areas in Kampong Speu, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat and Battambang provinces.
