The donation aimed to contribute to the reduction in the financial constraint of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital. It was voluntarily made by the LWD individual staff who strongly wished to see the hospital continue its mission to save the lives of Cambodian children.

According to a letter dated July 26 sent to Dr. Beat Richer, Founder and Director of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital by LWD Executive Director Dr. Sam Inn, he wished to see the invaluable mission of the Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals continue to save many more lives of Cambodian children, who really need help.”We would like to express our sincere thanks and great appreciation to you for your love, dedication and commitment to Cambodian children and we fully hope that other Cambodians will join in support for the sustainability of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospitals,” the letter says.

Mr. Meas Sarith, Administrative Manager of Kantha Bopha Children’s Hospital said that, “Recently, the number of patients come to our hospital is higer than the previous years, most of them affected by Dengue fever and other deseases. That’s really nice that all Cambodian people kindly help in this situation. All the donations from local and abroad contribute to our mission, if no such support, the hospital will not be able to continue its operation. I’d like to thank you all for your kind donations.”
